Brie Williams has a passion for working with artists, entrepreneurs, students, and community members who are passionate about their crafts. As an administrative professional she works to build bridges across disciplines in order to improve lives and increase the accessibility of the arts for all people. Ms. Williams has spent several years working with nonprofit arts organizations, including community theatres, museums, and galleries. She currently serves as treasurer of the board of directors for 621 Gallery, a contemporary art space with a focus on empowering emerging visual and performance artists. In 2019 she earned the Florida Higher Education Arts Network’s award for advocacy in the arts in Florida’s capital city of Tallahassee. An Orlando native she studied Visual Arts, Marketing, and Leadership Studies at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where she explored leadership practices in relation to effective community service. She also holds an M.A. in Arts Administration from Florida State University (FSU).
