William Bausano, baritone, is Professor of Music at Miami University. His musical pursuits have taken him throughout the United States, and to Europe, South America, and Australia, performing is cities such as Paris, Venice, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Sydney, Melbourne, and Porto Alegre. Operatic roles include Dan Cairo (Carmen), Prince Yamadori (Madama Butterfly), Sciarrone (Tosca), Marquis D’Obigny (La Traviata), Count (Le Nozze di Figaro), Gianni Schicchi and Simone (Gianni Schicchi), and Benoit /Alcindoro (La Boheme). Professional choral singing experience includes the Los Angeles Master Chorale and the Oregon Bach Festival Choir. Dr. Bausano serves as Director of Choral Activities at Miami University where he conducts two choirs and teaches choral conducting and techniques courses. He is also the conductor of the choir of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Oxford.
