SVA Alumni Singers perform art songs with renowned mezzo-soprano, Marietta Simpson. Marietta Simpson is Rudy Professor of Music (Voice) at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she has served on faculty since August 2005. Known for her deeply expressive, richly beautiful voice, Simpson has sung with every major orchestra in the United States, under many of the world’s greatest conductors.

Join us for a panel discussion with some of the leading American agents, including Ana de Archuleta from ADA Artist Management, Alex Fletcher and Sarah Fraser from Fletcher Artist Management, Kathy Olsen from Encompass Arts, and Nathan Wentworth from Magnum Opus Artists.

It's Opera Aria time with coach/pianist, Miah Im, who recently took over as Director of Opera Studies at Rice University. With over 80 operas in her repertoire, Im has served on the music staffs for Lyric Opera of Chicago, New York City Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, Ravinia Festival, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, The Juilliard School and the Centre for Opera Studies in Italy.
